I. Exchange Policy
At ALANINA, each piece is crafted for its destined wearer. However, we understand that jewelry may look different in person compared to online. If you wish to exchange or return your piece, please follow the guidelines below.
Exchanges from the Prêt-à-Porter Collection
We accept exchanges within 14 days of receipt for items from the Prêt-à-Porter Collection. The item must be unworn, in original packaging, with all documentation (GIA certificates, invoices, designer notes, etc.). If these conditions are not met, the exchange request will be rejected.
a. Steps to Request an Exchange:
- Contact Us: Email contact@alaninajewelry.com within 14 days of receipt, using the subject line: "Exchange Request for [order number]".
Include:
- Order number
- Details of the received product (name, picture, SKU)
- Details of the desired exchange product (name, picture, SKU)
- Reason for exchange
- Delivery details (name, address, phone number)
- Original order invoice (as attachment)
Await Response: Allow 72 hours for a response with next steps and the return address. If you don't receive a reply, email again.
b. Pack Item for Return/Exchange:
Place the jewelry into the original packaging and include all documentation in the original packaging box (GIA, Designer’s note, Certificates…)
c. Shipping Cost and Insurance:
Clients are responsible for return shipping costs. Ensure you get a tracking number, as ALANINA is not liable for lost items.
d. Examination and Confirmation:
Once the item(s) arrive at the ALANINA offices, the ALANINA team will begin our inspection process to ensure that the jewelry piece is in the same condition as when dispatched to the customer, and includes all the relevant information (See: Step 3). This process may require some time; please allow several days for this step to be completed.
Once the ALANINA team completes the inspection, we will send an email detailing the results of the examination. Should the inspection be successful, the email will specify the following:
- If the value of the initial piece is less than the value of the piece to be exchanged, the customer will need to pay the difference. Once the payment has been received, your new ALANINA piece will begin its journey of crossing the seas.
- If the value of the initial piece is more than the value of the piece to be exchanged, ALANINA will refund the price difference. Once the refund has been processed, your new ALANINA piece will be sent to your doorstep.
II. Return Policy
All ALANINA items are subject to a 14-day return period from the date of their arrival. Due to the careful and meticulous hand-crafting that goes into creating each piece, ALANINA, unfortunately, does not accept “Change of Mind” exchange and return requests.
Once the ALANINA team receives the returned item, our team of experts and specialists will conduct an inspection to examine the quality of the item. If the inspection process is successful, we will process your refund via a wire transfer method. Please follow the same steps as outlined in the “Exchanges from the Prêt-à-Porter Collection” section in order to return your piece.
Items bought during the sale, and any other promotional periods, cannot be returned.
III. Bespoke Items
The ALANINA bespoke service is a one-on-one service where clients work closely and directly with the designer to visualize and customize an item of their choice, leading to one-of-a-kind creations and pieces. This often involves visualizing the item in 3D, selecting the stones, and materials, reviewing and accepting the design, and proceeding to implement and produce the piece.
Given the highly personalized nature of each ALANINA bespoke piece, the time, craftsmanship, and extensive curation and production times, pieces made through the ALANINA bespoke service are not eligible for an exchange or refund.
